Steady-state gas pore permeameter
Overview:
The steady-state gas permeability meter is used to measure the steady-state gas permeability, pore volume, and particle volume of columnar rock cores at room temperature. The instrument has a permeability control console, a Hassler core gripper, a sample cup, and a computer that can manually or automatically obtain data. There is also an alternative hydraulic core gripper that can be used in situations with overburden pressure to complete measurements.
