Adjustment and Leak Prevention Method for ASCO Electromagnetic Valve Leakage

(1) Before plugging the ASCO solenoid valve with safety equipment, the necessary tools and equipment should be equipped and set according to relevant safety technical regulations, and protective gear should be worn. They should meet the safety protection requirements of fire and explosion prevention, waterproof and oil proof, anti-virus and anti-corrosion, anti scalding and anti freezing, anti radiation and other working conditions.

① ASCO solenoid valves can be divided into dust masks and gas masks, etc.

② ASCO solenoid valves are divided into special glasses such as white, ink, coated glasses, and UV resistant glasses. Its function is to protect the eyes, prevent dust, and strengthen

③ There are various types of clothing, hats, shoes, socks, and gloves, mainly used to protect the human body from media damage. Different styles and materials of products are selected according to different working conditions. Rubber and plastic products are used for waterproofing, oil resistance, gas and corrosion prevention, dust prevention, etc; Asbestos and fiberglass products are used for fire, heat, corrosion, and burn prevention; Woolen products are used for corrosion prevention; Cotton wool products are used for antifreeze and other purposes. It is best to use one-piece work clothes, long sleeved gloves, deep sealed work shoes, and safety helmets with earplugs and face shields.

④ ASCO solenoid valves are mainly used for anti-virus, antifreeze, and skin protection.

⑤ ASCO solenoid valve masks can be divided into filter type, isolation type, and long tube type. Used for filtering or isolating toxic gases, suitable for plugging leaks in toxic environments.

⑥ ASCO solenoid valve safety belt and safety rope. Seat belts are used for high-altitude leak sealing operations to prevent accidental falls and injuries; Safety ropes are used in hazardous work areas for rescue operations.

⑦ Platform, baffle, wind vane. The platform can be divided into two types: fixed and active, in order to facilitate leak prevention and retreat; The baffle is used to block the medium from spraying onto the human body for ease of operation; The wind vane identifies the wind direction so that the leak sealing team can be in the upwind position.

⑧ Firefighting equipment refers to fireproof boards, fireproof mats, fireproof sand, fire extinguishing agents, fire extinguishers, etc.

⑨ Fire pipelines and fire trucks. Fire protection pipelines can be divided into water pipelines, steam pipelines, and extinguishing agent pipelines, etc; Fire trucks can be divided into manual and vehicle types, and some fire trucks are equipped with automatic control systems.

⑩ The alarm system is equipped with automatic alarm systems in the production area and leak sealing operation area. Such as explosion-proof alarms, anti-virus alarms, etc.

(2) The safety knowledge of leak sealing: ① Combustion is a chemical reaction phenomenon accompanied by heat and light emission. Combustion must have three conditions: combustible materials, combustion aids, and ignition sources.

Petroleum and other products are flammable substances that are surrounded by air. In order to prevent fires, it is necessary to strictly control the source of fire and establish a fire management system. Therefore, open flames, welding, and tools that generate sparks are strictly prohibited during leak sealing.

ASCO solenoid valves use adjustment operations, adjusting the pre tightening force of seals, or adjusting the relative position between parts to achieve a method of eliminating leakage by implementing sealing. It can be divided into fastening method, positioning method, flushing method, upper sealing method, operation method, starting method, etc.

(1) ASCO solenoid valve tightening method is a method of applying a certain pre tightening force to the leaking seal to achieve leak prevention. This method is applicable to gaskets, fillers, and opening and closing components.

① ASCO solenoid valves and other units may experience leakage of gaskets on equipment and valves during the start-up temperature rise process. Depending on the situation, it is necessary to tighten the bolts 1-3 times to eliminate the leakage. Due to improper installation, the gasket may have defects such as misalignment, causing leakage. In this case, the bolt should be tightened from the leakage point, and then the bolts should be tightened symmetrically from both sides one by one to stop the leakage. If the flange has a large offset and the above method is not effective, you can loosen the bolt at the position with the smallest flange gap slightly, and then tighten the position with the largest flange gap to eliminate the leakage.

② During the operation of the ASCO solenoid valve, the packing leaked, and there was a certain pre tightening gap between the gland nut. Symmetrically tightening the gland bolt or tightening the compression sleeve nut can stop the leakage.

③ When ASCO solenoid valve leaks due to vibration, wear, temperature changes, etc., external force can be applied to the handwheel to apply a large torque, forcing the gate or valve disc to close and stop the leakage. When leakage occurs due to poor fit between the plug body and the tapered hole in the valve body of a plug valve, it is necessary to loosen the adjusting screw, tighten the nut or tighten the packing appropriately to force the plug body to fit tightly with the tapered hole in the valve body without leakage.

Adjustment and Leak Prevention Method for ASCO Electromagnetic Valve Leakage (Figure 1)

A method of achieving leak prevention between the relative positions of ASCO solenoid valve components. This method is suitable for flanges, packing, and opening and closing components.

① Incorrect installation of flanges in relative positions often leads to defects such as misalignment, deviation, and misalignment, resulting in leakage. Misalignment refers to the flange being staggered and not concentric; Skewness refers to the uneven gap between flanges and their skewness; The notch is when the convex surface is greater than the concave surface, making it difficult to press the gasket tightly. Using the adjustment method, make the flanges concentric with equal gaps, and tighten the bolts evenly and symmetrically in turns to prevent leakage. The notch is caused by burrs or small processing errors. Use a saw blade or small file to remove burrs on the outer surface of the convex surface, or remove a layer of skin along the circumference. Then, tighten the bolts evenly and symmetrically in turns, so that the convex surface is embedded in the concave surface and the gasket is compressed.

② Some ASCO solenoid valves may experience poor directional performance at the connection between the valve disc and valve stem, or minor defects such as slight wear and deformation on the sealing surfaces of the valve disc and valve seat. When these minor defects fit perfectly together, it can cause valve leakage. When encountering this situation, the valve should be slightly opened to offset the valve disc from the valve seat, and then the valve should be closed to eliminate leakage. If the valve is threaded and the medium is not hazardous, and the above method cannot eliminate leakage, the installation position of the valve can be changed by an angle, and the valve can be closed until it no longer leaks. If there is a leakage at the threaded connection of the valve due to a change in installation position, other leak prevention methods should be used, but this is much more convenient than eliminating the internal leakage of the valve.

③ When the valve is opened, if the valve stem and packing leak due to local defects, the valve stem can be appropriately displaced to avoid the leakage defect and stop the leak.
