What are the components of Baifu BIFOLD solenoid valve

When the Baifu BIFOLD solenoid valve is powered on, the electromagnetic force will drive the pilot valve to open, causing the pressure in the upper chamber of the main valve to rapidly decrease, thereby forming a pressure difference in the upper and lower chambers of the main valve. This pressure difference will push the main valve closing component upwards, causing the valve to open; When the power is cut off, the spring force will close the pilot valve, and the inlet medium pressure will quickly enter the upper chamber of the main valve through the pilot hole, forming a new pressure difference and causing the main valve to close. The characteristics of this solenoid valve are small size and low power, but the range of medium pressure difference is limited to a certain extent.

In addition, two three-way Baifu BIFOLD solenoid valves are often used in conjunction with single acting pneumatic actuators. Two digits indicate that it has two controllable positions: on and off; And the Three Principles mean it has three channels for ventilation. Normally, one channel is connected to the air source, while the other two channels are connected to the inlet and outlet of the actuator respectively. The Baifu BIFOLD solenoid valve is often used in conjunction with double acting pneumatic actuators and has two position controllable functions: on and off. It has five ventilation channels, one of which is connected to the air source, the other two are respectively connected to the external air chamber inlet and outlet of the double acting cylinder, and the remaining two are connected to the internal air chamber inlet and outlet. The working principle can be understood by referring to the relevant diagrams of the double acting pneumatic actuator.

In terms of the gas (or liquid) circuit, the two position three-way solenoid valve is equipped with one inlet, one outlet, and one exhaust hole. The two position five way solenoid valve is equipped with one intake hole, one forward acting air hole, one reverse acting air hole, as well as one forward acting exhaust hole and one reverse acting exhaust hole.

For small automatic control equipment, industrial rubber hoses with a diameter of 8-12mm are usually selected. In terms of electrical aspects, two position three-way solenoid valves usually adopt a single control design, that is, a single coil, while two position four-way solenoid valves are often double controlled, that is, double coil. The coil voltage level is often selected as DC24V or AC220V, etc.

The normally closed type refers to the air circuit being in a disconnected state when the coil is not powered, while the normally open type is the opposite. The operating principle of the two three-way solenoid valves is: when powered on, the air circuit is connected, and when powered off, the air circuit is disconnected, achieving the "jog" function.

The operating principle of the two five way dual electronic control Baifu BIFOLD solenoid valves is slightly different: when the positive action coil is energized, the positive action air path is connected; When the reverse coil is powered on, the reverse air circuit is connected. These two states will continue until the other coil is powered on, achieving the "self-locking" function. Different types of solenoid valves have different principles and structures. For example, direct acting solenoid valves use the electromagnetic force generated by the electromagnetic coil to open or close the valve, while distributed direct acting solenoid valves combine the principles of direct acting and pilot operated. In addition, the pilot operated solenoid valve controls the fluid flow through the interaction between the pilot small valve and the main valve.

It is crucial to understand the working principle and structural characteristics of solenoid valves when selecting and applying them to ensure that they can meet specific application requirements.

Principle: When powered on, the electromagnetic force will open the pilot hole, causing the pressure in the upper chamber to rapidly decrease, thereby forming a high and low pressure difference around the closure. This pressure difference will cause the fluid pressure to push the closure member upward, thereby opening the valve. When the power is cut off, the spring force will close the pilot hole, allowing the inlet pressure to quickly form a lower and higher pressure difference around the closing valve through the bypass hole. Similarly, fluid pressure will push the closure member downwards, thereby closing the valve.

Features: The upper limit of the fluid pressure range of this Baifu BIFOLD solenoid valve is relatively high, and the installation method is flexible (customized), but it must ensure that the fluid pressure difference condition is met.
