Selection of Air Compressor for Composite Salt Spray Test Chamber
The composite salt spray test chamber has been favored by many users due to its easy operation, user-friendly interface design, and production process. But many customers use salt spray test chambers for first-time purchases, and encounter some difficulties when selecting matching air compressors for composite salt spray test chambers.
1. In general, customers need to provide their own independent air source or air compressor (with a displacement of ≥ 0.3m3/min and a pressure of 0.5MPa-0.8MPa). Although some laboratories have centralized air sources, they are shut down at night, which affects the continuity of salt spray testing. Therefore, most customers choose to use an air compressor separately for the salt spray box.
2. Use oil-free compressor! If there is too much water in the compressor and it is used for too long, a small amount of oil will be carried into the salt spray box! However, this type of air compressor will be more expensive.

4. The interface between the composite salt spray test chamber and the outsourced air compressor adopts a self-locking quick connector, and the air duct is 8mm.
5. During the test, the test chamber sprayed spray normally but the compressor did not run. The reason is that the self-protection function of the air compressor is normal and it is used as usual.
After each experiment, the oil-water separator switch should be turned on to drain the accumulated oil and water.
7. The function of the air conditioning valve should be checked regularly.
If the test time exceeds 120 hours, the accumulated water in the air compressor shall be discharged after each passing time.
If the test time exceeds 2000 hours, please replace the oil in the air compressor.
10. Adjust the pressure knob of the air compressor to 2 kilograms (approximately 0.2 MPa); The spray pressure of the composite salt spray test chamber is adjusted to 1 kilogram (approximately 0.1 MPa).
