Shangshun Chemical (formerly known as Danxian Organic Chemical Factory) was founded in 1977, initially focusing on the production of chemical reagents such as acetone and butanol. In 1994, it fully transformed into the field of rubber additives and is now a multinational enterprise specializing in the production of rubber accelerators (including thiazole MBT/MBTS, sulfonamide CBS/NS series products), anti-aging agents, and insoluble sulfur. In 2007, it achieved capital internationalization through listing on the main board of the Singapore Exchange, with products covering more than 30 countries worldwide, serving top ten international tire manufacturers such as Bridgestone and Michelin. In 2011, it was renamed Shandong Shangshun Chemical Co., Ltd., with its headquarters located in Shan County Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shandong Province.
