Single flange liquid level transmitterIt is an important industrial automation instrument that calculates the current height of a liquid based on the principle of pressure sensing, through changes in the density and pressure of the liquid, and converts this information into a standard 4-20mA.DC signal output for monitoring and control by the control system. Its working principle is that when the pressure of the measured medium is introduced into the high and low pressure chambers (in a single flange level transmitter, the low pressure chamber is usually directly connected to the atmosphere), it acts on the isolation diaphragms on both sides of the sensitive element (such as the delta element), and is transmitted to both sides of the measuring diaphragm through the isolation diaphragms and the filling liquid inside the element. When the pressure on both sides is not consistent, the measuring diaphragm will produce displacement, and its displacement is proportional to the pressure difference. This displacement change will be converted into an electrical signal and output as a signal proportional to the pressure.
Single flange liquid level transmitterInstallation method:
1. Select installation location
Select a suitable installation point on the side of the container, usually located below the low liquid level, to ensure that the liquid level can be measured throughout the entire process.
Avoid installing near the feed inlet, mixer, or other locations with severe liquid level fluctuations.
Ensure sufficient space for installation and maintenance.
2. Installation process flange
Clean the flange interface and new gasket on the container.
Place the gasket on the container flange.
Align the process flange of the single flange transmitter with the container flange and tighten it diagonally and evenly with bolts to prevent damage to the diaphragm due to uneven force.
Attention: It is strictly prohibited to directly twist the capillary tube or transmitter body to align with the flange. The transmitter's built-in rotary joint or universal joint should be used for adjustment.
3. Fixed capillary tube
Install capillary tubes along walls or brackets.
Use specialized clamps to loosely secure the capillary tube, avoiding excessive bending (minimum bending radius usually ≥ 50mm), squeezing, stretching, or mechanical damage.
Avoid exposing capillary tubes to direct sunlight or extreme temperature environments, and install insulation layers or sunshades if necessary.
4. Install the transmitter body
Install the transmitter body on a guide rail or wall bracket that is convenient for observation, wiring, and maintenance.
Ensure that the transmitter body is securely and horizontally installed (some models require it).
