What are the connection methods for electromagnetic flow meters
Date: 2023-08-31Read: 0

An electromagnetic flowmeter consists of two main parts: an electromagnetic flow sensor and an electromagnetic flow converter. The main components are measuring tube, electrode, excitation coil, iron core and yoke, and shell. The measuring tube of the sensor is a non-magnetic alloy short tube lined with insulating material. According to different usage environments and locations, the process requirements vary, and the instrument structure can be divided into the following forms.

1、 Flange connection:

Both ends of the flowmeter have flanges that can be connected. When connecting to the pipeline, simply fix the flanges on both ends to the flanges on the pipeline with bolts. This connection method iszuicommonly usedzuiuniversal

2、 Threaded connection:

Some small-diameter flow meters have threaded connections, which have certain applications in petroleum, exploration, medical, and food industries.

3、 Clamp on type:

The flowmeter without flanges adopts this method, which is clamped between the two flanges of the pipeline with bolts. This method is relatively simple.

4、 Sanitary clamp type:

This method is generally used for small diameter pipelines, which can quickly install and disassemble flow meters, and is also easy to clean and maintain on a daily basis. A liquid that contains an average of liquid-solid two-phase suspension, such as mud, slurry, pulp, etc.
