Mechanical installation method of Shanghai Yichuan analytical vortex flowmeter

1. Preparation work
Before installation, the workstation of the instrument, the diameter of the vortex flowmeter, and the installation method should be checked. Prepare installation tools, equipment, and auxiliary materials (such as flanges, bolts, sealing gaskets, etc.).
2. Cutting and installing pipelines

When cutting, pay attention to the smoothness of the incision, and do not leave curled edges or burrs on the inner wall of the pipeline. If it belongs to an old process pipeline, it should be operated under safe conditions after cutting off and releasing pressure; If there is corrosive or toxic fluid in the original pipeline, it should be cleaned before operation.
3. Welding and installing flanges
1) The pressure and temperature resistance of the installed flange should be compatible with the working pressure and temperature.
2) The flange end face should be perpendicular to the pipeline axis, with an allowable deviation of ≤ 20 °. The flange center should be concentric with the pipeline axis, and the coaxiality should be less than 3% of the inner diameter of the vortex flowmeter measuring tube.
3) The positions of the bolt holes on the front and rear flanges should be consistent.
4) The welding of the installation base for pressure and temperature transmitters should be carried out by drilling holes on the installation pipeline according to the designed positions of pressure and temperature measuring holes. The diameter of the pressure measuring hole should be 4-6mm, and the diameter of the temperature measuring hole should be determined based on the size of the temperature sensor. The temperature measuring hole can be tilted vertically or backwards at a 45 ° angle. After drilling, weld the pressure and temperature sensor mounting seats onto the pipeline.
5) After welding, it should be polished flat, the welding slag inside the pipe should be removed, and the quality of the weld seam should be checked.
6) For the welding of the installation base of the plug-in vortex flowmeter, it is required that the flange plane is parallel to the pipeline axis, and the axis of the installation base is perpendicular to the pipeline axis, with a vertical deviation of less than 5 °
7) The vortex flowmeter installed by welding should be protected by cooling the body and converter during welding operations to avoid damaging the sealing materials, detection components, and electronic parts of the converter. If cooling cannot be implemented, the converter and detection components should be removed during welding operations. During welding, centering measures should also be taken to ensure that the coaxiality between the vortex flowmeter and the pipeline is less than 3%. '
4. Installation of sensors
1) Pre installation inspection
① Check for any damage caused to the sensor during transportation;
② Check if the instrument model is correct.
2) When installing sensors, attention should be paid to the flow direction markings on the body, which should be consistent with the actual flow direction.
3) A sensor and pipeline should be connected in the following way:
① Flange type connection
② Flange clamp type connection, pay attention to the installation method during installation, and tighten the bolts according to the principle of symmetrical force.
③ Threaded connection, pay attention to sealing during operation;
④ Welding type connection, pay attention to cooling protection during operation to prevent welding high temperature from damaging the detection components.
4) Install pressure and temperature detection components
Pay attention to sealing when installing pressure and temperature detection components onto the mounting base. Temperature detection mostly uses thermal resistors (such as Pt100), and the insertion depth should reach 3-5 times the length of the sensitive element to ensure that the sensitive element is fully "immersed" in the measured fluid.
For high-temperature fluids (such as steam and hot gases), the pressure measuring element cannot be directly installed on the pipeline and should avoid direct contact with the high-temperature fluid. A pressure inducing device should be used to extract the pressure and reduce the temperature to below 120 ℃ before connecting the pressure detection element. Usually, the pressure pipe should have a certain length, preferably with a condensation ring section, in which cooling water or isolation liquid is filled.
