Brief Introduction

Product Introduction:

In order to monitor ground safety, people need a validated friction and wear testing machine to detect it. Previously, there were many types and designs of anti-skid measuring instruments orStatic friction coefficient testerBut many of them are quite bulky.Imported static friction coefficient tester from the United StatesUsed for quickly testing the static friction coefficient values of tiles, stones, and other surfaces to determine whether the ground or sidewalk is safe, it is of great help in evaluating the anti slip ability of the ground. It is a tested sensor material.

Operation steps:

Make all necessary preparations before operation, clean the sensor thoroughly, and gently lay down the slide gauge to prepare for formal testing. Attach a chain of nylon thread to the end shaft of the instrument. Use two fingers to pull the silk thread, with the rest of the hand perpendicular to the hook, and the thread must be straightened. Hook the loop of the wire with your index finger, curl your index finger and pull the slider, then read the data displayed on the slider. Then press the reset button twice and repeat the above testing method in four vertical directions until a safe value is sampled and recorded. An abnormal value, either high or low, must be discarded and another value must be re measured. The Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) jointly adopt a static friction coefficient of 0.50 or higher, both of which are standards for providing safe surfaces.

Attention: Before and after each use, clean the sensor regularly by sanding with sandpaper and cleaning with a brush (cyclic testing) to prevent the accumulation of dust from the measuring surface during each measurement.

Accessories Introduction:

Digital sliding tester carrying case

Instruction Manual

Sensors, brushes for cleaning, safety logs

Sensor pad (3 sets) accessory storage box

Synthetic rubber sensor (3 sets) calibration chain

Silk thread chain adhesive

Decimal Comparison Table

400 # sandpaper

Weight 3.35kg

It is recommended to use a 9V lithium battery.

Operating procedure:

Install three sensors onto the instrument, complete the polishing and cleaning of the sensor pads, and then gently place the instrument on the surface of the testing area.

[Step 2] The button on the right of the blue color selects the test surface status: Dry or Wet.

Press the blue left button (Test (+)/Albumite) once, and the screen will appear on the left side

'+' symbol, press this test key twice.

[Step 4] Take out the tension nylon thread set, with one end having an S-shaped hook and loop attached to the tension shaft below the instrument, the other end having a circular ring bent and hooked by the index finger, and the remaining four fingers bent and clenched, slowly straightening the nylon thread (Figure 1,2 on the right). The control line should be straight and horizontal. Use the middle ring index finger, slowly curl the index finger towards the palm direction, and steadily pull until the instrument starts to move. At this point, pay attention to the reading changes on the screen. When the instrument moves, the reading at the moment of testing the static friction coefficient will stop and the test data will be recorded. Press the Test/Write button twice and repeat the process while recording the test data.
