The drawbacks of traditional paint film testers are that second-hand cars with original factory paint may not necessarily be genuine

We all know that the paint film analyzer is a second-hand car inspection tool that every appraiser has. It can quickly and accurately assist appraisers in identifying whether the car paint surface is the original factory paint or sheet metal spray paint. However, the saying goes by a thousand feet and the devil goes by a thousand feet. The drawbacks of traditional paint film analyzers have been discovered by many repair shops, which are to use metal putty instead of traditional data putty to successfully deceive traditional paint film analyzers. This has led to the existence of fake cars in the second-hand car market that promote themselves as original factory paint. In order to better solve this drawback of traditional paint film testers, Guoou Instrument has independently developed a paint film tester with metal putty detection function, Guoou's fourth generation "body damage tester". Taking this refurbished car as an example, the pillar on the rear fender and door was scratched and deformed. The repairman repaired the rear fender with conventional sheet metal putty and the rear door with falsifiable metal iron powder putty.

Based on the current industry situation, metal putty fraud can deceive 99.9% of traditional paint film testers in the market.

However, this fraudulent technique is not suitable for the new generation of Guoou paint film testers,basicuseless.

We use the fourth generation paint film meter of Guoou to measure the metal putty area, and it will prompt the detection of metal putty. The upper left corner of the screen will prompt the detection of metal putty, and the measurement value will be highlighted in reverse color. The control panel will light up red and emit a beep alarm sound.

Forgetting original car paint with metal putty is not a complicated matter. As can be seen from the video, it is both simple and effective. Assessors, car dealers, and car buyers should be more careful when inspecting used cars.
