Analog logic analyzer can achieve monitoring of complex digital systems
Date: 2025-03-25Read: 7

The analog logic analyzer collects various signal data during the operation of the digital system for subsequent analysis and processing. For example, in embedded systems, collecting digital signal data output by sensors for further data analysis and decision-making; Effectively detect glitches in digital circuits. Burr is a brief but potentially interfering signal that can affect the normal operation of a circuit. It can accurately capture burrs and display information such as their occurrence time, duration, and amplitude, helping engineers evaluate the impact of burrs on the system.

Characteristics of Analog Logic Analyzer:
1. Multi channel input: Usually has multiple input channels, usually 16 or more. Multiple measured signals can be connected simultaneously to achieve monitoring of complex digital systems. For example, when testing a microprocessor system with multiple data buses and control buses, all relevant signals can be collected simultaneously for comprehensive analysis.
2. High sampling rate: In order to accurately capture changes in digital signals, it has a high sampling rate. The sampling rate of common logic analyzers ranges from several hundred MS/s to several GS/s. A high sampling rate can ensure accurate sampling of rapidly changing digital signals and avoid missing important information.
3. Large capacity storage: With a large storage depth, it is used to store the collected signal data. The size of the storage depth determines the duration of continuous signal acquisition. For example, during long-term system testing or data acquisition, sufficient storage depth is required to preserve complete signal waveform data for subsequent analysis.
4. Flexible triggering methods: Supports multiple triggering methods, such as edge triggering, level triggering, pulse width triggering, burr triggering, etc. Suitable triggering conditions can be set according to different testing requirements, and data collection can be started under specific signal states to improve the effectiveness and accuracy of data collection.
5. Intuitive display interface: Generally equipped with an intuitive graphical interface, it displays the collected signal data in the form of waveform diagrams, status tables, timing charts, etc. Users can easily observe the trend of signal changes, logical states, and various parameter information through a graphical interface, making it easy to quickly analyze and understand the characteristics of the signal.
6. Powerful analysis function: In addition to basic waveform display and measurement functions, it also has rich analysis functions, such as protocol decoding, spectrum analysis, statistical analysis, search and navigation, etc. These functions can help users analyze signal data more deeply, extract useful information, and accelerate the speed of fault diagnosis and problem solving.
7. Portable and easy to use: Modern analog logic analyzers are usually small in size, light in weight, and easy to carry and use. Some portable logic analyzers can even be connected to laptops or tablets, operated and controlled through corresponding software, making it convenient for on-site testing and debugging.
