OBC Efficient Testing Solution
What is OBC?
OBC is a bridge connecting the power grid and the power battery pack of new energy vehicles. Its main function is to convert the AC power input from the power grid into DC power, providing charging energy for the power battery. It has various protection measures such as overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, and undercurrent. The derivative BOBC (Bidirectional On Board Charger) supports reverse discharge function (such as V2L, V2G, V2V), further expanding the energy interaction capability between vehicles and external devices. The stability of OBC is directly related to the normal operation of the vehicle's electrical system.
Testing requirements?
Request to provide high-performance testing equipment for aging testing, reverse inversion testing, and system wake-up testing of OBC. In OBC charging mode, the output terminal needs to undergo long-term aging testing with a DC electronic load to verify the safety and stability of the equipment; Under bidirectional development, the OBC function has been upgraded from single DC charging to bidirectional charging and discharging. In the OBC discharge mode, the input terminal requires a DC power supply to simulate the battery discharge process and output DC power to verify the reverse inverter function of the OBC.
At the same time, the low-voltage power supply signal is one of the basic conditions for the start and wake-up of the OBC system. When the vehicle starts, the 12V power supply provides the necessary starting energy for the OBC to ensure that it can work normally. The 12V power supply signal can also wake up the BMS and other related components, enabling them to communicate and exchange data with the OBC.
Test scenario 1:
aging test

Test scenario 2:
V2G/V2L mode test

And the customer requires the equipment to meet the following requirements:
① The power coverage of the testing equipment is 3.3kW/6.6kW/11kW/22kW;
② Voltage coverage on 400V/800V platform;
What can we do?
