StrikeAlert is a personal portable lightning detection and warning device, whose core function is to monitor the electromagnetic waves generated by lightning activities, provide real-time lightning proximity alerts for users, and is an important safety equipment for outdoor activities.

1、 Core application scenarios

StrikeAlert has a wide range of applications, mainly targeting any outdoor scene that may be threatened by lightning:

1. Outdoor Sports and Leisure：

• golferGolf courses are open areas where players hold metal clubs, making them high-risk targets for lightning strikes. StrikeAlert can remind players to stop the game in a timely manner and seek refuge.

• fishing enthusiastAnglers are usually exposed and holding carbon fishing rods (conductive) on open water surfaces or banks, and require lightning warning.

• Mountaineering and HikingEarly warning can help climbers evacuate to a safe area in a timely manner in high-risk locations such as mountaintops, ridges, and open areas.

• Camping and PicnickingAssist campers in deciding when to enter vehicles or sturdy buildings for shelter and avoid staying in tents during thunderstorms.

• Cycling and RunningProvide warnings for outdoor athletes, giving them enough time to end their exercise or find shelter.

2. Professional and Industrial Fields：

• constructionConstruction site cranes, scaffolding and other tall metal facilities are prone to lightning strikes, and early warning can ensure timely evacuation of high-altitude workers.

• Ports and LogisticsWarning is required for dock loading and unloading, outdoor warehouse operations, etc. to suspend operations and ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.

• Agriculture and Animal HusbandryFarmers can receive timely alerts when working in the fields or managing pastures, and stay away from large metal equipment such as tractors and large trees.

• Outdoor events and activity managementOrganizers of events such as marathons, music festivals, and air shows can use them to monitor the weather, make decisions on delays or evacuations, and ensure public safety.

3. Public Safety and Education：

• school playgroundPhysical education teachers or coaches can carry it with them to protect student safety.

• Management of tourist attractionsProvide monitoring tools for scenic area administrators to promptly notify tourists to avoid danger.

2、 Main advantages

Compared to simply viewing weather radar apps, StrikeAlert has its irreplaceable advantages:

1. Real time and localized monitoring：

• StrikeAlert monitors lightning around us in the present momentIt detects the electromagnetic pulse generated by actual lightning, with a very fast response speed (in seconds), providing the most direct localized threat information. It tells you 'how close the lightning just hit you' instead of 'the radar shows the rain belt is moving towards you'.

2. High portability and dedicated use for special aircraft：

• Compact in size (usually the size of a keychain or pocket), lightweight, and easy to hang on backpacks, belts, or keys.

• No network signal requiredIn remote mountainous areas, seas, and forests where there is no signal on the phone, it can still work normally, which is something that the weather app cannot achieve.

• Easy to operateOne click operation, no need for complex settings and browsing of phone menus. In emergency situations, simplicity is reliability.

3. Provide key distance and trend information：

• Distance detectionThe device can estimate the distance of the most recent lightning strike (e.g. within 40 miles, 24 miles, 12 miles, 6 miles) and distinguish it with different colored LED lights and buzzing patterns.

• Trend AlertBy observing the change in alarm frequency (such as from once per minute to once every 10 seconds), users can clearly determine whether thunderstorms are occurringApproach or Stay AwayThis is the key basis for making decisions.

4. Proactive warning, freeing up user attention：

• During outdoor activities, users may be focused on exercising, enjoying scenery, or working, and may not have the time to frequently check their phones.

• StrikeAlert throughSound and FlashprovideProactive warningLike a partner with lightning knowledge standing guard for you at all times, ensuring that you don't miss any danger signals.

5. High reliability and long battery life：

• Specially designed for harsh outdoor environments, typically waterproof and shock resistant.

• Powered by button batteries, there is no need to worry about charging issues.
