Recently, Anqing Metrology and Testing Institute welcomed a group of heavyweight "new members" - the fixed bridge three coordinate measuring machine, fully automatic imaging instrument, grating length measuring machine, and laser interferometer independently developed by Shenzhen Zhongtu Instrument Co., Ltd. have completed delivery and acceptance.

This batch of equipment will focus on serving the booming automotive parts industry in Anqing and surrounding areas, providing full process measurement capabilities such as dimensional measurement, form and position tolerance analysis, and precision calibration for the automotive parts industry, becoming an important technical support for the upgrading of the local manufacturing industry.
Among the four sets of equipment, the Earth fixed bridge coordinate measuring machine, as the core equipment, demonstrates significant technological advantages. The device adopts a fully granite matrix structure with an extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion, ensuring the stability of the measurement reference during continuous operation.


Its core technological highlights are concentrated in five aspects:
1. "Closed frame" and mobile workbench design: Combined with a dovetail type guide rail system, it achieves frictionless and wear-resistant motion, greatly improving rigidity compared to traditional structures;
2. High speed scanning capability: The ACH100S-5 automatic rotating measuring seat has 1728 repeatable positioning spatial positions, and the CP500S scanning probe innovatively integrates triggering and scanning dual modes, with a collection speed of 1000 points per second, which can quickly construct complex surface models;
3. Dual algorithm certification: German PTB least squares and minimum area method dual certification, supporting ISO and ASME standards;
4. Autonomous and controllable system: equipped with self-developed scanning probe sockets, PowerDMIS software, and Alpha series controllers, providing domestically produced trusted options;
5. Multiple safety measures: Equipped with an air pressure detection device to prevent the Z-axis from falling due to gas interruption, ensuring the safety of the probe.

These technical features enable the model to achieve metrological level accuracy in measurement. After actual testing by the provincial metrology institute, the accuracy indicators meet the following requirements: length market value error (0.6+L/500) μ m, length measurement repeatability 0.3 μ m, single probe shape detection wucha 0.5 μ m, scanning detection error 1.4 μ m/45S. Can meet the high-precision dimensional measurement needs of various automotive components.
In addition to the fixed bridge coordinate measuring machine, the equipment delivered synchronously this time each plays a professional role:
1. Fully automatic imaging system: for micro electronic components and precision stamped parts, it achieves high-speed and high-precision dimensional measurement;
2. Grating length measuring machine: provides length measurement traceability with a resolution of 0.01 μ m, ensuring uniform measurement values for all systems;
3. Laser interferometer: Used for calibration and compensation of coordinate measuring machines, length measuring machines, imaging instruments, and CNC machine tools, it is a guarantee for stable positioning accuracy of precision measuring instruments and machine tools.
The four types of equipment form an organic whole, "said the technical director of Anqing Metrology Institute." The grating length measuring machine provides the reference scale, the laser interferometer ensures the positioning accuracy of the instrument and equipment, the fully automatic imaging instrument solves the measurement of small sizes, and the three coordinate system realizes large-scale three-dimensional measurement. Currently, Anqing Metrology Institute is actively building the "Anhui Province Automotive and Parts Industry Metrology Testing Center". This batch of equipment can meet the measurement requirements of various complex components such as battery trays, motors, engines, transmissions, etc. of new energy vehicles, as well as the dimensional and positional tolerances of fuel vehicles. The installation and delivery of four sets of equipment will accelerate the formation of the industrial metrology center.
As an important base for the automotive parts industry in East China, Anqing's equipment upgrade directly targets the industry's pain point - solving the problem of insufficient testing capabilities for high-precision gearboxes, new energy motors, and other components. With the deployment of these devices, the automotive parts industry in Anqing City will receive micrometer level precision support, greatly enhancing the GD&T (geometric dimensions and tolerances) application capabilities of automotive parts enterprises.
