Cable selection requirements

1. ‌Materials and StandardsCopper core flame-retardant cables must be selected, in compliance with mining safety signs, and the use of aluminum wrapped cables is strictly prohibited. High voltage cables need to adopt armored structures (such as PVC insulated steel tape armor).

2. ‌environmental adaptabilityHigh temperature resistance, moisture resistance, corrosion resistance, and flame retardancy are required, and low smoke halogen-free material (LSZH) is recommended for the sheath.

3. ‌Section requirementsThe cross-section of the grounding core wire shall not be less than half of the main core wire, and the main core wire shall meet the load demand.

Laying standards

1. ‌path selectionAvoid the main return airway, dedicated return airway, and chute to prevent gas explosions or mechanical damage.

2. ‌suspension method‌：

• Tunnels with a horizontal/inclination angle<30 °: suspended with hooks, spacing ≤ 3 meters, and looseness needs to be buffered against external forces.

• Vertical shaft/roadway with inclination angle ≥ 30 °: fixed clamping device, spacing ≤ 6 meters, no joints.

3. ‌Safety distanceMaintain a distance of ≥ 0.3 meters from the air duct/water pipe, and separate the power cable and signal cable on both sides (wellbore ≥ 0.3 meters, roadway ≥ 0.1 meters).

Special scenario handling

• ‌mobile deviceThe power supply cable of the mining unit can be coiled or laid in an "8" shape and moved with the equipment.

• ‌Drilling and layingThe cable needs to be tied tightly to the steel wire rope and protected with a sleeve.

• ‌High humidity areaUse waterproof rubber sheathed cables to avoid water exposure.
