I. Overview
The LDG integrated (split) electromagnetic flowmeter is an instrument that measures the volumetric flow rate of conductive liquids based on the working principle of Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. It is a product of the combination of fluid mechanics and electromagnetics. When a conductive liquid cuts magnetic field lines in a magnetic field, it generates induced electromotive force at both ends.
The LDG integrated (split) electromagnetic flowmeter consists of two main parts: a flow sensor and a converter. The measuring tube is equipped with excitation coils on top and bottom, and the magnetic field generated by the excitation current passes through the measuring tube. A pair of signal electrodes are installed on the inner wall of the measuring tube in contact with the liquid, generating induced potential and transmitting the flow signal to the converter.
This series of electromagnetic flow meters is an updated version of the LDG series electromagnetic flow meters. New breakthroughs have been made in both appearance and assembly methods, as well as in internal structure, ensuring high precision, stability, and consistency of the product. Widely used in industries such as power, metallurgy, chemical, petroleum, petrochemicals, municipal, environmental protection, food processing, and pharmaceuticals.

3、 Working principle
According to Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, when a conductor cuts magnetic field lines in a magnetic field, an induced electromotive force is generated. The magnitude of the induced electromotive force is proportional to the effective length of the conductor in the magnetic field and the speed at which the conductor moves perpendicular to the magnetic field direction. Similarly, when a conductive liquid flows perpendicular to a magnetic field and cuts magnetic lines, it will also generate induced electromotive force on the electrodes on both sides of the pipeline. The direction of induced electromotive force is determined by the right-hand rule, as shown in Figure 1. The magnitude of induced electromotive force is determined by formula (1):
