Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) Online Analyzer

BOD, Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) is an environmental monitoring indicator mainly used to monitor the pollution status of organic matter in water bodies. By heating a mixture of water sample, potassium dichromate solution, mercury sulfate (mercury sulfate can eliminate the interference of chloride ions in water sample, as chloride ions can form very stable with mercury ions), and silver sulfate solution (silver sulfate as a catalyst can more effectively oxidize linear fatty compounds) to 165 ℃, the color of organic matter in the solution will change after oxidation by dichromate ions. The analyzer detects this color change and converts it into BOD value output. The amount of dichromate ions consumed is equivalent to the amount of oxidizable organic matter.

Potassium permanganate index (CODMn) online analyzer

CODMn online analyzer is a rapid determination of permanganate index (CODMn) suitable for monitoring surface water (Rivers and Lakes, water sources, etc.) According to the national standard GB11892-89 Determination of Permanganate Index of Water Quality, add potassium permanganate and sulfuric acid to the sample, heat it to 98 ℃, oxidize some organic and inorganic reducing substances in the sample, add excess sodium oxalate to consume unreacted potassium permanganate, titrate excess sodium oxalate with potassium permanganate, record the volume of titration end point, and calculate the permanganate index value of the sample.
