The high-temperature smoke and dust in the converter workshop of the steel plant and the coal dust in the coal mining face not only endanger the health of the workers, but also may cause safety hazards and environmental risks.Eagle Eye Dust Reduction SystemWith the core advantage of "intelligent identification+precise spray", it has become a powerful dust control tool for industrial dusty scenes. However, there are significant differences in dust concentration, diffusion speed, and working environment in different scenarios. If the parameter settings are generalized, it will greatly weaken the dust reduction effect. According to the characteristics of converter workshop and coal mining face in iron and steel plant, scientific setting of core parameters such as identification sensitivity, spray pressure and coverage is the key to achieve efficient dust control.
The converter workshop of a steel plant is characterized by "high temperature, high concentration smoke and dust", with fine particles, fast diffusion, and metal oxides. The parameter settings need to focus on "fast capture, strong suppression". In terms of recognition sensitivity, the dust recognition threshold should be lowered to 0.5mg/m ³, and the high temperature adaptation mode should be activated - as the ambient temperature in the converter area can reach over 80 ℃, algorithm optimization is needed to avoid interference from high temperature radiation on the dust sensor, ensuring that the system can trigger the dust reduction command when smoke and dust are just generated (concentration ≤ 1mg/m ³). The spray pressure needs to be increased to 8-10 MPa, and the high-pressure atomization technology is used to refine the water mist particle size to 5-10 μ m, so that the water mist can fully collide with the fine smoke particles for condensation; Considering the spray diffusion of smoke and dust during converter blowing, the coverage should adopt the dual design of "ring+orientation". The ring spray covers the range of 3 meters in diameter of the converter mouth, and the directional spray extends 5 meters toward the main diffusion direction of smoke and dust to form a three-dimensional dust control network.
The dust in the coal mining face is characterized by "coal dust as the main source and large concentration fluctuations", and the space is narrow with frequent equipment movement. Parameter settings need to take into account "accurate identification and flexible adaptation". The recognition sensitivity needs to adopt a "graded triggering" mechanism: the recognition threshold is set at 1mg/m ³ during normal mining to trigger low-intensity dust reduction; When the dust concentration suddenly rises above 5mg/m ³ due to processes such as blasting and coal cutting, the system automatically switches to high sensitivity mode (threshold 0.8mg/m ³) and starts full power dust reduction. The spray pressure should be adjusted according to the type of dust. For the falling coal dust with large particle size, 4-6 MPa medium pressure spray should be used, and the water mist particle size should be controlled at 20-30 μ m to enhance the settling force; For suspended coal dust, switch to 6-8 MPa high-pressure mode to generate 10-15 μ m fine water mist for efficient capture. The coverage shall be linked with the mining equipment, and the spray device shall be fixed at the front end of the roadheader and the coal cutter, covering the width of the working face horizontally (usually 4-6 meters), and extending 10 meters longitudinally with the movement of the equipment, so as to ensure that the dust is covered immediately.
In addition, both types of scenarios require attention to the dynamic optimization of parameters. The converter workshop of a steel plant can preset parameter templates at different stages such as loading, blowing, and tapping based on the blowing cycle, to achieve process linkage and dust control; The coal mining working face can be connected to equipment operation signals. When the coal mining machine accelerates or triggers a warning, the system will start dust reduction 5 seconds in advance, changing from "passive response" to "active prevention and control". At the same time, it is necessary to calibrate the identification sensitivity regularly according to the dust detection data, and adjust the spray pressure in combination with the wear of equipment to ensure that the parameters always match the actual working conditions.
The core parameter setting of the Eagle Eye dust reduction system lies in "scene adaptation". In view of the high temperature and high concentration smoke and dust in the converter workshop of the steel plant and the fluctuating coal dust in the mining face of the coal mine, the dust reduction efficiency of the system can be increased by more than 40% through the differential setting of identification sensitivity, spray pressure and coverage. Scientific parameter configuration can not only effectively control dust pollution, but also reduce equipment energy consumption and maintenance costs, building a "precise, efficient, and intelligent" dust control defense line for industrial dusty scenes.
