The installation precautions for intelligent vortex flowmeter include the following aspects

1. The intelligent vortex flowmeter can be installed in vertical, horizontal, or any inclined position according to the flow direction indicator.

2. When the pipeline is long or close to the vibration source, supports should be installed upstream and downstream of the flowmeter to eliminate the impact of pipeline vibration.

3. The installation location of the intelligent vortex flowmeter should have sufficient space for inspection and maintenance of the flowmeter, and should meet the environmental requirements of the flowmeter.

4. Avoid interference from strong external magnetic fields.

5. When installed and used outdoors, there should be a cover to avoid direct sunlight and rainwater erosion, which may affect the service life of the instrument.

6. During pipeline pressure testing, attention should be paid to the pressure measurement range of the pressure sensor equipped with the intelligent vortex flowmeter to avoid damage to the pressure sensor due to overpressure.

7. Attention should be paid to the influence of installation stress. The upstream and downstream pipelines of the flowmeter should be coaxial, otherwise shear stress will be generated. The installation location of the flowmeter should consider the thickness of the sealing gasket or install an elastic expansion joint on the downstream side.

8. Before installing the flow meter, the welding slag and other debris in the pipeline should be removed first.

9. When put into operation, the upstream and downstream valves of the flowmeter should be slowly opened to avoid sudden rapid airflow and damage to the starter.

10. When the flowmeter requires signal remote transmission, it should be strictly connected to an external power supply (8-24) VDC according to the "electrical performance indicators" requirements. It is strictly prohibited to directly connect a 220VAC or 380VAC power supply at the signal output port.

11. Users are not allowed to change the wiring method of the explosion-proof system or arbitrarily twist various output lead connectors.

12. When the intelligent vortex flowmeter is running, it is not allowed to open the back cover and change the instrument parameters at will, otherwise it will affect the normal operation of the flowmeter.

13. Regularly check for leaks at the flange of the flowmeter.
