As an advanced non-contact liquid level measurement device, the Dinghua external liquid level switch has been widely used in various industries such as chemical, petroleum, and pharmaceutical due to its safety, reliability, easy installation, and wide applicability. This article will provide a detailed introduction to the installation steps and daily maintenance points of the Dinghua external liquid level switch, to help users better use and maintain this equipment.
1、 Installation steps
1. Select installation location
According to design requirementsDetermine the installation height of the probe based on the alarm height specified in the tank equipment diagram or design requirements. Usually, the probe should be installed on the spiral ladder side of the storage tank for ease of installation and later maintenance.
Considering environmental factors: The installation location should avoid strong electromagnetic interference sources such as motors and motors to reduce signal interference.
Check the condition of the tank wall: Ensure that the tank wall is flat, smooth, free of rust and welds (especially in the area between the two probes). If there is insulation layer on the tank wall, it is necessary to clean and remove the insulation layer in the installation area of the probe.
2. Handling installation joint surfaces
Polishing the tank wall: Use sandpaper or polishing tools to polish the tank wall, and the polishing area should be larger than the probe diameter (usually recommended to be larger than)Φ80mm)Until a metallic luster is revealed.
Clean the joint surface: Wipe the polished tank wall with a clean cloth to remove impurities such as oil and dust, ensuring that the joint surface is clean and dust-free.
3. Apply coupling agent
Choose a suitable coupling agent: It is recommended to use silicone grease as the coupling agent, with a coating thickness of about1.5-2mm.
Uniform application: Apply silicone grease evenly on the joint surface between the probe and the tank wall, ensuring that there is no air gap between the probe and the tank wall.
4. Adsorption probe
Install the probe: Attach the probe to the tank wall that has been coated with silicone grease, ensuring that the probe is tightly attached to the tank wall.
Fixed shielding cover: Place the sealing ring around the outer edge of the shielding cover, tighten the shielding cover to secure the probe, and apply sealant to prevent water ingress.
5. Installation bracket and host
Fixed bending bracket: useUType card andM8The nut fixes the bent plate bracket in placeDN50(2')On the riser.
Installing the host: using cross disc head screwsM8*14Flat cushion8Elastic washer8Fix the host onto the mounting bracket. Please note that the interface of the host pipeline isG1/2'Internal thread, measuring probe pipeline interface isG1/2'External threads require corresponding adapters.
6. Connecting pipelines and hoses
Nearby connection: The flexible connection pipe between the host and the measuring probe should be connected using explosion-proof flexible pipe, and the rest can be equipped withDN20(6')Galvanized pipe.
Avoid torque force: Ensure that the hose connecting the measuring probe has no significant torque force to prevent the probe from falling off.
7. Sealing and Drainage
Sealing of the host inlet: Install sealing rings and metal gaskets with corresponding apertures at the host inlet to lock the cables and prevent water ingress.
Set up drainage outlet: Set up a drainage outlet at the lowest point of the laying pipe between the measuring probe and the host, such as a drainage type explosion-proof isolation sealing box.
8. Instrument wiring and debugging
Wiring: Depending on the type of instrument (e.g4~20mAActive signal outputHartPassive signal outputRS485 ModbusConnect the signal output correctly.
Debugging: Use a magnetic pen to enter the instrument settings interface and perform parameter settings such as liquid free calibration, liquid calibration, and relay adjustment. After debugging, check if the display status in the lower left corner of the instrument is correct (the liquid level exceeds the alarm probe display)HI, not exceeding the displayed limitLO).
2、 Key points of daily maintenance
1. Clean the casing and connector
Regular cleaning: Use a soft cloth or brush to gently wipe the surface of the instrument housing and connector to ensure they are clean and dust-free.
Check the connector: Regularly check whether the connector is loose or dirty, and if necessary, use appropriate cleaning agents for cleaning.
2. Check electrical connections
Tighten cables: Regularly check if the cable connections are secure and reliable to prevent loosening or corrosion.
Measure resistance: Use a multimeter to measure the probe resistance, and the normal resistance should be within0.4MΩabout. If there is an abnormality, it is necessary to check whether the cable is short circuited or open circuited.
3. Calibration and Calibration
Regular calibration: According to the operation manual provided by the manufacturer, perform regular calibration to ensure measurement accuracy. Calibration should be carried out in a safe state and operated according to the correct procedures.
Record parameters: After debugging is completed, record key parameters (such as110Under the password7、17、20Number parameter) for subsequent comparison and troubleshooting.
4. Check the sealing performance
Regular inspection: Regularly check whether the seals are intact to ensure no leakage occurs.
Replace seals: If seals are found to be aging or damaged, they should be replaced promptly to ensure sealing performance.
5. Inspection and recording
Regular inspection: It is recommended to regularly inspect the operation status of instruments and record the displayed values and status on the meter head.
Exception handling: If abnormal or false alarms are found in the displayed values, they should be promptly handled and the reasons and measures taken should be recorded.
6. Maintenance and replacement
Lubricating components: According to the maintenance manual provided by the manufacturer, regularly lubricate the components that need to be lubricated.
Replace worn parts: Regularly inspect and replace worn parts (such as sealing ringsOTo ensure the long-term stable operation of the equipment, such as the use of O-rings.
By following the above installation steps and daily maintenance points, users can ensure the long-term stable operation and measurement accuracy of the Dinghua external liquid level switch, providing strong guarantees for production safety and efficiency.
