Let's first take a look at the technical requirements. The design specifications for the high-level water tank are as follows:

1. The water tank adopts stainless steel plate water tank, and the method is shown in 12 s101. The inlet and outlet pipe valves should be equipped with indication opening and closing devices. When installed outdoors on the top of the star, protective measures such as locks or door boxes should be taken for the manhole of the water tank and the valves of the inlet and outlet pipes. The insulation of accessories such as the water tank and provincial road valves should be made of rubber sheets (pipes) with a thickness of 30mm and covered with aluminum foil.

2. The high-level water tank should be firmly connected to the foundation.

3. The overflow pipe and ventilation pipe of the water tank (pool) are all equipped with stainless steel mesh covers (18 mesh). The method is shown in 12s101-73-75. The vertical distance between the water outlet and the water surface is not less than 250mm. The method is shown in 12s101-71, and the cover cushion is sealed with rubber pads.

4. Local and transmission code level gauges should be installed at the high-level water tank to display the bottom elevation, highest effective water level, highest alarm water level, lowest alarm water level, and lowest effective water level.

5. Control and Signal:

5.1 The booster pump of the indoor fire hydrant system is automatically started by the pressure switch set on the outlet pipe of the indoor fire hydrant pump and the flow switch set on the outlet pipe of the high-level water tank.

5.2 The control cabinet or control panel should be able to display high water level, low water level alarm signals, and normal water level of the high-level water tank.
