Magnetic flap level gauge remote transmitter upper and lower wiring
Date: 2023-08-25Read: 11

During the installation process, the magnetic flap level gauge will have a level transmitter function. The orientation of the transmitter's electrical interface generally includes upper and lower wires. The upper wire is usually used when the size of the magnetic flap level gauge is within 2 meters. When using the upper wire, or when there is no requirement, it is defaulted to the upper wire. As shown in the following figure: I599I699107

Another type of wiring is that if the overall size of the magnetic flap level gauge is high, such as 5 meters or more, or if there are special requirements for wiring, the meter head will face downwards, or there may be obstacles blocking the wiring position above, which are not allowed. It depends on the on-site wiring, how to make the wiring convenient, and how to make the wiring direction of the level transmitter.

The principle of a magnetic float level gauge is that when the magnetic float inside the float moves up and down with the change of liquid level, the position of the magnetic steel in the magnetic float will change the closed state of the magnetic switch in the reed switch. Only the reed switch within the range of the magnetic steel will be closed, while others will be in an open circuit state, thereby changing the resistance value of the circuit. The position of the magnetic float is equivalent to the sliding point of the potentiometer. As the position of the magnetic float changes, it causes changes in the resistance value and output voltage. Through current/voltage conversion, it is converted into a 4-20mA/current signal output. Transmitters usually have resolutions of ± 5mm, ± 10mm, and ± 20mm. The higher the accuracy, the more reed switches are used.
