On September 19th, the first meeting of the drafting working group for five national standards, including the establishment of "isolated safety barriers for industrial process measurement and control systems", was successfully held at the Yudian Temperature Control Technology Industrial Park. The meeting was hosted by the Control Instruments and Devices, Industrial Control Computer Systems Subcommittee of the National Industrial Process Measurement, Control and Automation Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC124/SC2, hereinafter referred to as the Standardization Committee) and co organized by Yudian Temperature Control Technology. Industry experts and business representatives from all over the country gathered in Xiamen to jointly research and develop standards, and promote the standardized development of the industry.

At the beginning of the meeting, Tian Yingming, Vice Chairman of TC124/SC2, delivered a speech expressing gratitude to Yudian Temperature Control Technology for co organizing the meeting and highly affirming Yudian's position in temperature control technology and standardization work. He pointed out that the formulation of this standard is an important measure to promote standardization and internationalization in the field of industrial process measurement and control. Subsequently, TC124/SC2 Secretary General Zhou Xuelian provided a detailed introduction to the project status and work plan of five national standards (including three national standards and two foreign versions of national standards), while Deputy Secretary General Zhang Xinguo explained the establishment plan and meeting agenda of the drafting working group.

The attending experts conducted in-depth discussions on the draft contents of "Isolated Safety Barriers for Industrial Process Measurement and Control Systems", "Distributors for Industrial Process Measurement and Control Systems", "Interface Specification for Field Equipment Tools (FDT) Part 2: Concepts and Detailed Description" and two foreign language versions of the standards. From technical details to application scenarios, key issues were sorted out one by one, and the revision direction and next step work arrangement of each standard were clarified, laying a solid foundation for the scientific preparation of the standards.

During the conference, experts inspected the overall construction of Yudian Xiang'an Industrial Park, including clean and orderly intelligent production lines, precise and rigorous testing processes, and a full range of temperature control products covering the needs of various industries. The National Technical Committee for Standardization of Industrial Process Measurement, Control and Automation is an organization under the leadership of the State Administration for Market Regulation and under the business guidance of the China Machinery Industry Federation. It carries out national standardization technical work in the field of industrial process measurement, control and automation, and its business corresponds to the International Electrotechnical Commission IEC/TC65 (Industrial Process Measurement, Control and Automation) and the International Organization for Standardization ISO/TC30 (Measurement of Fluid Flow in Closed Pipelines).
