Recently, a piece of information like this caught our attention: "CCTV praises Henan teenager! At the age of 12, he saved a building. As a native of Henan, I am also very proud. At the same time, the aging of natural gas pipelines and valves in old residential areas can easily lead to pipeline rupture, which requires special attention.

On December 30th, a natural gas leak occurred in a residential area in Zhengzhou, Henan. Fortunately, a 12-year-old boy discovered it in time and avoided the danger. That evening, when 12-year-old junior high school student Li Chengze and his father walked downstairs to the residential area, Li Chengze smelled a pungent odor. I feel this smell is very uncomfortable and pungent. He said, 'Dad, can you smell this natural gas? I can smell it as soon as I smell it.'. After discovering that the situation was not right, Li Chengze and his father quickly reported the situation to the gatekeeper and went door-to-door with the gatekeeper knocking on their neighbors' doors. Zui finally found out that there was a gas leak from the second floor east door. We knocked on the door hard before they opened it. The two valves in the room were closed, and the sound was still the same (due to the aging and rupture of the natural gas pipeline and valves). After finding the source, it was discovered that the gas pipeline might have ruptured, so someone called 119 to report it. Later, Li Chengze ran to guide the firefighters.

Soon, gas company staff also arrived at the scene. It is understood that the cause of the accident was a gas pipeline rupture. Fortunately, the evacuation was timely and no casualties were caused.

The residents of the community are very grateful. This child is truly brave and righteous. It is said that this child is a little hero, and the neighborhood committee has also posted a notice to praise the child Li Chengze.whodidn't expectcanHighly praised by CCTV!
