Exhibition Introduction
To fully display the latest technologies, products and equipment of China's water affairs industry, promote the in-depth integration of new technologies and products such as the Internet of Things, big data, artificial intelligence, 5G, and edge computing with water affairs business, practice the new water governance ideas and the general tone of water conservancy development and reform in the new era, provide scientific and technological support and equipment guarantee for water affairs construction in the Greater Bay Area during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, use the high-end platform and influence of the expo to display enterprise strength, promote brand image, deepen exchanges and cooperation, expand market share, and create a well-known brand event in the water affairs industry integrating "exhibition platform + publicity platform + trading platform". The 2025 Shenzhen International Water Technology Expo is scheduled to be held at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, referred to as "IWTE".

Previous Review
The 2023 Shenzhen International Water Technology Expo had 284 participating enterprises, leading the industry in exhibitor scale, with an exhibition area of 15,000 square meters. Six characteristic exhibition areas were set up on site: Smart Water Conservancy, Water Conservancy and Hydropower & Hydrology, Water Supply and Drainage, Dredging and Waterway, Pumps, Pipes and Valves, Water Treatment & Activated Carbon, and Water Purification. The exhibition lasted for 3 days (July 11-13), with 6 scientific and technological theme exchanges, 58 roadshows, and innovative live broadcast sessions. The total number of visitors (online and offline) exceeded 100,000 person-times in 3 days.
At the opening ceremony, responsible comrades from the China Hydraulic Engineering Society, China Dredging Association, Guangdong Provincial Department of Water Resources, and Shenzhen Municipal People's Government attended and delivered speeches. Wang Lixin, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Water Resources, delivered a keynote report at the opening ceremony, and Wang Fuming, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Dean of the School of Civil Engineering of Sun Yat-sen University, gave a report and exchange speech.
