Recently, the Shandong Hydrological Center held a provincial hydrological work conference, clarifying the current and future development direction of hydrological work in Shandong. The meeting pointed out that by 2025, Shandong will initially establish a comprehensive integrated hydrological sensing network of "air, space, and earth", achieving rationalization of station layout, automation of information collection, networked transmission, intelligent processing, and comprehensive services. Flow monitoring will achieve full automation coverage, and hydrological modernization will be basically achieved; By 2035, achieve hydrological modernization.

On June 5, 2021, at the request of the client, Fengtu installed a hydrological online monitoring system not far from the mouth of the Yellow River in Kenli District, Dongying City, Shandong Province. The system can be monitored 24 hours a day without human supervision, further enhancing flood monitoring capabilities and improving flood warning effectiveness

The Fengtu Hydrological Online Monitoring System integrates data collection, storage, transmission, and management, consisting of hydrological sensors, data acquisition instruments, pole supports, solar power supply systems, and computer software platforms.
