The national standard drafted by Meiyi is about to be implemented!

Recently, the national standard GB/T 20818.16-2023 "Data Structures and Elements in the Catalogue of Industrial Process Measurement and Control Process Equipment Part 16: Attribute Lists (LOPs) for Electronic Data Interchange of Density Measurement Equipment", which Meiyi participated in drafting, has been approved for publication by the national government and will be officially implemented on July 1, 2024.

This standard is under the jurisdiction of TC124 (National Technical Committee for Standardization of Industrial Process Measurement, Control and Automation), implemented by TC124SC2 (Control Instruments and Devices, Industrial Control Computer Systems Branch of National Technical Committee for Standardization of Industrial Process Measurement, Control and Automation), and supervised by.

The person in charge of Meiyi's participation in the drafting of this standard stated that the standard is a series of standards converted from the IEC 61987 standard. The standard specifies the definition, storage, and transmission of attributes related to sensors, transmitters, controllers, and actuators in self-control systems, and provides a common language for manufacturers, integrators, design institutes, users, and others to communicate with each other.

This series of standards will solve the problem of "information silos" caused by separate classification and description of measurement and control equipment among different users, enterprises, and industries in the field of industrial automation, and improve data consistency and interoperability.

This series of standards is still a necessary prerequisite for establishing a reference model for intelligent manufacturing and developing basic common standards such as interconnectivity, safety, and energy efficiency. It is a key basic standard for intelligent manufacturing and has been included in the national intelligent manufacturing standard system construction guide.
