ybzhanCorporate NewsThe technical exchange meeting for the brightness detector outside the tunnel was held in Weifang

With the rapid development of transportation infrastructure in China, the number of highway tunnels is increasing day by day, and the driving safety issues caused by the difference in brightness inside and outside the tunnels have attracted much attention. Research has shown that sudden changes in lighting when drivers enter and exit tunnels can easily create visual blind spots, thereby increasing the risk of accidents. Therefore, real-time monitoring and regulation of the brightness at tunnel entrances have become an important part of ensuring traffic safety. Based on years of experience in environmental monitoring equipment research and development, Shandong Tianhe Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. has launched a new generation of tunnel external brightness detection instrument, with high precision and intelligence as the core concept, to assist in the scientific regulation of tunnel lighting systems.

The detector adopts photoelectric sensing technology and is equipped with high-sensitivity optical sensors, which can collect real-time natural light data outside the hole 24/7. Its measurement range is wide, with an accuracy of up to ± 2%, and it can adapt to different climate conditions and time periods. The instrument is equipped with intelligent algorithms that can automatically eliminate interference factors (such as momentary shadows or local strong light), ensuring the continuity and reliability of data. In addition, the product casing adopts an IP65 protection level design, which has the characteristics of dust prevention, water resistance, high and low temperature resistance, and is suitable for various harsh outdoor environments.

In terms of functionality, this detector not only supports real-time uploading of brightness data, but also seamlessly integrates with tunnel lighting control systems through IoT communication modules (such as 4G/5G or fiber optic). The system dynamically adjusts the brightness or switch combination of the lighting fixtures inside the tunnel based on the brightness value outside the tunnel, achieving "on-demand lighting". For example, automatically increasing the lighting intensity inside the tunnel under strong daylight conditions, while reducing energy consumption appropriately at night or in rainy weather. This closed-loop control strategy not only improves driving comfort and safety, but also significantly saves energy, which is in line with the development trend of green transportation.

The application case shows that the device has been put into use in highway tunnel projects in multiple provinces and cities. Taking a mountainous tunnel as an example, after installing this detector, the energy consumption of tunnel lighting decreased by about 30% year-on-year, while effectively reducing traffic accidents caused by poor lighting. User feedback indicates that the instrument is easy to install, has low operation and maintenance costs, has a user-friendly data platform interface, supports remote diagnosis and fault warning, and greatly reduces management burden.

In the technical exchange session, we welcome everyone to raise questions about product parameters, installation specifications, or data processing. Our engineering team will provide detailed answers and offer customized solutions based on specific project requirements. In the future, Tianhe Environmental Technology will continue to optimize product performance and expand its applications in urban tunnels, underground hubs, and other scenarios, contributing to the promotion of intelligent transportation and energy conservation and environmental protection.
