ybzhanWhat are the working principles and characteristics of the online multi parameter water quality analyzer for heavy metals in water quality?

working principle

Photoelectric colorimetric method: The water sample undergoes digestion treatment, and the heavy metal element to be tested is oxidized into an ionic state, which forms a specific color complex with the color reagent. At a certain wavelength, the absorbance of the complex is linearly correlated with the concentration of the substance to be tested, and the concentration of heavy metals is calculated by measuring the absorbance.

■Anodic stripping voltammetry: By electrolyzing and enriching heavy metal ions in water samples on the working electrode, and then changing the electrode potential to allow the enriched metals to re dissolve, the content of heavy metals is determined based on the current potential curve during the dissolution process.

Main Features

■Multi parameter simultaneous analysis: It can simultaneously detect multiple heavy metal elements, such as copper, chromium, nickel, manganese, iron, arsenic, lead, cadmium, zinc, etc., and can also customize detection parameters according to user needs.

■High sensitivity and low detection limit: It can detect trace amounts of heavy metal elements, such as some instruments with a detection limit of 0.1mg/L for lead and 0.025mg/L for cadmium.

■Real time online monitoring: It can continuously monitor changes in heavy metal concentration in water, timely grasp the dynamics of water quality, and immediately alarm if it exceeds the standard.

■High degree of automation: equipped with functions such as automatic calibration, automatic sampling, and automatic cleaning, reducing manual operation errors.

Technical Specifications

■Detection range: Different heavy metal elements have different detection ranges, such as copper 0-80mg/L, chromium 0-10mg/L, nickel 0-40mg/L.

■Precision: Generally around ± 3%.

■Accuracy: typically up to ± 5%.

■Zero drift: usually around ± 2% F.S.

■Range drift: generally around ± 5% F.S.

Application field

■Surface water monitoring: Monitor the heavy metal content in rivers, lakes, reservoirs and other water bodies, timely detect and warn of heavy metal pollution events, and ensure the safety of surface water quality.

■Industrial wastewater monitoring: Real time monitoring of industrial wastewater from industries such as electroplating, mining, metallurgy, and chemical engineering to ensure that wastewater meets discharge standards and prevent heavy metal pollution of the environment.

■Groundwater monitoring: detecting the content of heavy metals in groundwater, understanding the pollution status of groundwater, and providing a basis for the protection and restoration of groundwater.

■Monitoring of drinking water sources: Install this analyzer at the drinking water source to monitor the real-time heavy metal content in the water, ensuring the safety of residents' drinking water.
