What should be done when a fault occurs during the operation of the bus duct?

After the bus voltage disappears completely, the dispatcher shall immediately pull off the switches (including buscouple switches) that may be energized, and notify the operator to conduct external inspection on the bus.

When the voltage of the bus duct disappears due to a fault and there is a clear short circuit phenomenon (such as fire, explosion sound, smoke, etc.), maintenance personnel shall not resume operation on their own and shall conduct a detailed investigation and inspection of the bus equipment.

If the component connected to the busbar fails or trips due to the refusal of the branch switch, causing the busbar to lose voltage, a specific inspection should be carried out. Immediately isolate the faulty component in the busbar slot or open the knife switch on both sides of the faulty branch switch, quickly restore the operation of the busbar, and send out other branches. When using transparent laying, metal pipes or metal cable trays are used to maintain the fireproof coating, as metal pipes and metal trays themselves do not have fireproof functions. When insulated and sheathed cables are not made of flame-retardant materials, metal pipes and metal cable trays may not wear out on the shaft during maintenance, but the wiring must pass through board pipes and grooves to maintain the upper and lower end wires passing through the shaft floor. The gaps between pipelines and grooves should also be sealed. Therefore, national standards stipulate that the rated current constrains the temperature rise to determine the current carrying capacity and strengthen the bus duct.
