Working principle:
When the pulse generation circuit in the electronic compartment of the sensor generates a current pulse, this pulse propagates at the speed of light along the waveguide wire inside the side rod. When the pulse encounters the movable magnetic ring attached to the measuring rod, due to the magnetostrictive level gauge effect, a strain pulse will be generated at the position of the magnetic ring. This strain pulse will be transmitted back to the electronic chamber along the waveguide and received by the pulse echo receiving circuit. By measuring the time difference between the current pulse emitted and the strain pulse returned through a timing circuit, the position of the magnetic ring can be accurately calculated, thereby achieving displacement or liquid level measurement.
