Overview

The Optilab IM-1550-30-PM intensity modulator is designed for microwave links up to 30 GHz, analog modulation and remote processing of RF antennas, fiber optic RF. It is a high linearity, low voltage driven lithium niobate Mach Zehnder interferometer (MZI) design. It is an actual bias stable lithium modulator that has been proven to be very stable for a long period of time and has good stability in the bias circuit, ranging from 1525 nanometers to 1610 nanometers. It has excellent temperature tolerance range from 30 º C+75 º C, and low insertion loss for maximum transmission power. IM-1550-30-PM uses polarization maintaining (PM) input and output fibers and has independent RF bias ports.
