For water samples with uneven oil content, first extract with reagents, then separate the organic reagents from water and particulate matter through a separation device, and then remove trace amounts of water with anhydrous sodium sulfate. Reverse pressure flushing of the separation device with reagents not only prevents blockage but also eliminates cross contamination.
