Product Details

The battery heater enables the battery to unleash its full potential even in severe cold weather, fully releasing the battery. It is made of etched alloy foil or filamentous heating elements stacked in acid resistant silicone rubber sheets, with different input voltages such as 12V, 24V, 120V, 240V, etc., and equipped with power connectors. The battery heating element is compact in size, soft, lightweight, safe and reliable, suitable for heating and insulation of lead-acid and lithium batteries in most cars and trucks. Insulation layer can also be added to reduce heat loss.

Our company can customize battery heating elements of various sizes, powers, and temperatures according to customer requirements. To avoid battery overheating, the power density of the heating element generally does not exceed 0.2w/cm2. Additionally, do not directly heat the battery insulation box.

For industrial batteries, Guoweiwei Electric also provides aluminum plate composite silicone rubber heating plates or pressure-sensitive adhesive backing for installation.

If you cannot start the car in the cold winter, it is likely due to the battery. The cold weather greatly reduces the chemical reaction efficiency in the battery and increases the internal resistance of the battery. These two factors combine to cause the starting power of the battery to decrease with decreasing temperature. The curve on the right represents the relationship between battery capacity and temperature.

On the other hand, according to the International Battery Society, the required starting power for cars in winter is 40% to 70% higher than in summer. Therefore, when the camera is at low power, a fully charged battery can only provide 40% of the starting power, even if the battery is in good condition. Therefore, preheating the battery before starting is crucial to unleash its full potential, improve efficiency and lifespan.
