A comprehensive desktop flow cytometer

The CytoFLEX S series flow cytometer is an extension of the CytoFLEX platform. The CytoFLEX flow cytometer is equipped with a three color laser option with wavelengths of 488 nm, 638 nm, and 405 nm. The CytoFLEX S flow cytometer platform offers four laser options, multiple configurations, and a unique filter set tailored to your research field, expanding the possibilities of research. The CytoFLEX S system can preset up to four types of lasers, including lasers with wavelengths of 561 nm, 375 nm, or existing platforms, as well as high 13 color fluorescence channels.

After adding a 561nm laser to the flow cytometer platform, additional multi-color detection can be performed, and users can transfer imaging detection results to the flow cytometer, making it easy to achieve quantitative analysis of detection results. In addition, compared to 488 nm laser, 561 nm laser is more effective in exciting red fluorescent proteins. By using a 561 nm laser to detect red fluorescent protein, you can achieve an improvement in dynamic range and sensitivity.

The CytoFLEX S 375 nm laser is a new option in the CytoFLEX series desktop flow cytometer. The newly added 375 nm wavelength laser can achieve excellent excitation of Hoechst, DAPI, and bright ultraviolet (BUV) dyes in spatially separated beam points. This ensures that experiments can be conducted using the above-mentioned dyes/fluorescent dyes without the need for real ultraviolet light, thereby avoiding corresponding costs and reducing research costs.

The CytoFLEX S utilizes the same advanced technology as CytoFLEX, with sensitivity and resolution comparable to instruments larger than four times its size. The CytoFLEX platform features an unparalleled flow chamber design and integrated optical components. The innovative wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) detection module adopts an efficient and low-noise avalanche photodiode detector, which gives it extraordinary performance. This innovative system brings excitation and emission performance, reducing light loss and resulting in excellent instrument sensitivity. After adopting this innovative technology, the detection of weakly positive cell populations can be easily achieved with an easy-to-use software interface.

The CytoFLEX S is lightweight, weighing no more than 22kg, and has a delicate and compact structure with dimensions of 40.6 cm x 40.5 cm x 33 cm. You can easily install CytoFLEX S on the laboratory bench or in a standard biosafety cabinet wherever you need it.
