For upright microscope applications, the BioPrecision2 electric platform adopts a lightweight and efficient design. The working height of the mobile platform has been specially designed to be compatible with high aperture spotlight K ö hler illumination. The platform wide sample insertion configuration facilitates the use of high magnification short working distance objective lenses. By using a high-resolution linear encoder (optional), the accuracy of the mobile platform can be improved without affecting the use of the microscope.
The positioning mechanical part of the BioPrecision2 electric platform adopts a precision circulating ball screw driven by a stepper motor, providing a resolution of 25nm. Speed up to 30mm/sec. All BioPrecision2 electric platform levels use corrosion-resistant stainless steel hardware, precision cross roller bearings, and low positioning stepper motors with machined aircraft grade aluminum alloy parts.
The BioPrecsion2 electric platform can be customized by selecting an encoder and sample holder. Linear encoders enhance platform performance by providing direct feedback on platform position. LEP provides two resolutions for linear encoders: 0.1 μ m and 0.05 μ m.
