Introduction to the superior performance of biogas remote transmission V-cone flowmeter
1. The biogas remote transmission V-cone flowmeter has a measurement accuracy of ± 0.5% (the uncertainty of the outflow coefficient does not exceed 0.4% in most tower flowmeters calibrated for real flow). Such high precision cannot be compared to traditional differential pressure instruments such as orifice plates; Range ratio of 10 to 15:1.
2. The repeatability of the biogas remote transmission V-cone flowmeter is ± 0.1%, and it has long-term stability.
3. When using and installing the biogas remote transmission V-cone flowmeter, only a very short straight pipe section or even no need is required, with a front length of 1 (0) to 3D and a rear length of 0 to 1D. (A 3D straight pipe is required for installation after the regulating valve)
4. With extremely high measurement sensitivity (resolution), a pressure of 2.5 millimeters of water column at the negative pressure end (about 25 Pa) can be detected (the height of the water column is less than the thickness of a regular glass plate). Therefore, in addition to measuring large flow rates, it can also measure extremely small flow rates, such as flue gas (the pressure of a 25mm water column on an orifice plate can be difficult to detect).
5. The tower body is designed as a blowing type structure, thus having self-cleaning function, so it will not accumulate any dirt, solidified bodies, solids, gas-liquid, etc. carried in the intercepted fluid. Very suitable for measuring dirty fluids.
6. When fluid flows through a tower with a special shaped structure, a boundary layer effect is formed at its throttling edge, greatly reducing the possibility of wear and tear, and can also be said to be a non wear type throttling component. Therefore, after the V-cone flowmeter is put into use, except for extremely special conditions, its throttling edge will not be worn out, and it can also be said to be calibrated without disassembly.
7. The pressure loss is smaller than that of the orifice plate.
8. No movable parts, no electrical components, it is a pure mechanical body, therefore it has the characteristics of not being afraid of vibration, high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, etc. It can be said that it not only retains the simple and reliable structure of traditional differential pressure instruments, but also has various superior performance that traditional differential pressure instruments do not possess.
9. The measurable fluids are very wide, and various gases, liquids, vapors, etc. can be effectively measured, suitable for pipe diameters ranging from DN15 to DN3000. From the perspective of applicable medium range, process pipe diameter, and process conditions, there is currently no flow meter that can be compared to a V-shaped cone flow meter.
