（1） Install self recording paper: Remove the anti slip on the central axis above the recording cylinder, take out the recording cylinder along the central axis, and open the paper clipButton (with a metal paper clip at the bottom)Put the recording paper in place. The steps are as follows:

1. Fold the dotted line on the side edge of the recording paper inward.

2. Pull open the paper clip button and hook the folded edge of the self recording paper into the paper clip. The remaining part surrounds the recording cylinder, and the excess part is inserted into the inside of the paper clip.

3. After the self recording paper is tightly attached to the recording cylinder, check the alignment of the scale lines on both ends of the self recording paper, push in the paper clip button to clamp it tightly, and then insert the recording cylinder into the central axis and fasten it to prevent detachment.

（2） Check the recording pen: First, pull out the separation rod of the recording pen to remove it from the recording cylinder, then remove the recording pen cover, and push the separation rod forward to make the recording pen tip contact the self recording paper. Carefully move the recording pen and observe whether its trace is clear (if it is not used for a long time, the recording pen cover should be put on to prevent the ink from drying out)dry upIf the ink is running low, you can open it and refill it with ink）.

（3） Clock battery installation: Open the bottom cover of the instrument and insert a battery into the electronic clock battery slotBattery No. 5 (pay attention to the positive and negative poles).

（4） Adjust temperature and humidity readings:

Before leaving the factory, the instrument undergoes strict indication calibration and generally does not require further adjustment to function properly. If subjected to significant vibration or prolonged use, temperature and humidity indication can be adjusted.

1Temperature adjustment: use the dry bulb thermometer of the ventilation psychrometer to move it next to the sensor of the bimetallic sheet of the instrument. After the indicated value is stable, adjust the adjusting screw of the temperature pen position so that the indicated value on the self recording paper is the same as that on the thermometer.

2Humidity regulation: dip a clean brush into distilled water to wet all the hair bundles. After ten minutes, adjust the humidity pen position adjusting screw to make the pen tip indicate on the self recording paperAbout 95%, cover the cover. Then place a ventilated psychrometer next to the hair sensor of this instrument, and
Measure the relative humidity value and fine tune the humidity pen adjustment screw to make the humidity reading consistent with it.

3Adjust recording time: Gently grip the recording cylinder and slowly rotate it clockwise to align the pen tip with the current time position on the self recording paper, and you can start using it.

1. This instrument should be kept clean and installed in an environment that is free from direct sunlight, vibration, and corrosive gases.
