Bluetooth 5.0 Development Kit
The Bluetooth 5.0 development kit is a rapid development tool provided by our company for Bluetooth 5.0 development. Intended to eliminate the need for developers to spend a lot of energy on Bluetooth debugging, and instead focus on developing applications for Bluetooth 5.0 functionality.
The Bluetooth 5.0 development kit provides APIs for Bluetooth parameter settings, Bluetooth data transmission and reception, Bluetooth status processing, and also provides testing programs, so developers do not need to design testing programs again. The Bluetooth 5.0 development kit can adapt to the BLE software provided by our company, facilitate debugging of data transmission and reception, and support data encryption and decryption functions, which can greatly shorten the product development cycle.
The Bluetooth 5.0 development kit product supports all Bluetooth 5 features and functions, achieving 4 times the transmission distance, 2 times the speed, and 8 times the broadcast performance compared to Bluetooth 4, and enhancing the coexistence ability with other wireless IoT protocols

The SoC of the Bluetooth 5.0 development kit also features a 2Mbps PHY, supporting higher throughput and lower power consumption due to shorter transmit (TX) and receive (RX) times. The SoC also integrates new 125Kbps and 500Kbps encoding PHY, enabling longer communication distances, and its Bluetooth connection distance is four times longer than existing devices running Bluetooth 4.
In addition, the SoC of the Bluetooth 5.0 development kit provides sufficient flash memory (512KB) and RAM (64KB) to support running Zigbee, Thread, and Bluetooth 5 applications in a single protocol mode, as well as multiple protocol combinations of Bluetooth with Zigbee, Thread, or proprietary protocol stacks (running on sub GHz or 2.4GHz networks). The ideal choice for Bluetooth mesh network applications, as this series of SoCs is designed to run both Bluetooth mesh network and Bluetooth 5 protocol stack simultaneously, and support smartphone and Bluetooth mesh network connections.

Bluetooth 5.0 Development KitofThe new SoC includes on-chip oscillators, which eliminate the need for off chip 32kHz crystals typically required for low-power Bluetooth devices. The integrated high-precision low-frequency resistance capacitance (RC) oscillator (PLFRCO) enables developers to save approximately $0.15 in BOM costs in large-scale product designs that require 32kHz crystals to meet low-power Bluetooth sleep clock accuracy specifications. PLFRCO is different from other Bluetooth devices that provide similar integrated oscillators, as it ensures robust and reliable low-power Bluetooth connectivity throughout the entire operating temperature range of the device.

The sleep current is 6% lower than other SoCs and 44% lower than the first generation Wireless Gecko devices.
