1、 Characteristics of electromagnetic flowmeter:
1. Electromagnetic flowmeter is a volumetric flow measurement instrument that is not affected by changes in fluid density, viscosity, temperature, pressure, and conductivity;
2. Widely applicable, measuring flow components inside the tube without causing pressure loss, wear, blockage, or other issues. The straight pipe section has low requirements and is adaptable to slurry measurement;
3. The selection range is wide, as long as the sensor lining and electrode materials are selected reasonably, they will have good corrosion resistance and wear resistance;
4. The converter adopts a novel excitation method, with low power consumption, stable zero point, and high accuracy. The flow range ratio can reach 150:1;
5. The converter can be integrated or separated from the sensor;
Integrated type: Under favorable on-site conditions, an integrated type is generally chosen, which consists of sensors and converters.
Split type: The flowmeter consists of two parts: the sensor and the converter. Generally, split type is selected when the following situations occur:
(1)Environmental temperature or surface amine radiation temperature of flowmeter converter>60℃.(2)In situations where pipeline vibration is significant.(3)In situations where the aluminum casing of the converter is severely corroded(4)In places with high humidity or corrosive gases on site(5)Flow meters are installed in high-altitude or underground environments where debugging is inconvenient(When ordering a split type electromagnetic flowmeter, the cable connection distance between the sensor and the converter should be specified, generally not exceeding20mThe converter is wall mounted)
6. The converter adopts a 16 bit high-performance microprocessor, 2x16 LCD display, convenient parameter setting, and reliable programming;
7Dianci flowmeterFor a bidirectional measurement system, it is equipped with three integrators: forward total, reverse total, and difference total; It can display positive and negative flow rates and has multiple outputs: current, pulse, digital communication HART;
8. The converter adopts surface mount technology (SMT) and has self checking and self diagnostic functions;
9. High measurement accuracy, unaffected by changes in fluid density, viscosity, temperature, pressure, and conductivity. The sensor's induced voltage signal is linearly related to the average flow rate.
10. The electrode has a long service life and there are no flow barriers in the measuring pipeline, so there is no additional pressure loss; There are no movable parts inside the measuring pipeline.
11. The installation of straight pipe sections requires low requirements. As the induced voltage signal is formed in the entire space filled with magnetic fields and is the average value on the pipeline surface, the straight pipe section required for the sensor is relatively short, with a length of 5 times the diameter of the pipeline.
12. Mature technology, the converter adopts internationally commonly used microcontroller (MCU) and surface mount technology (SMT), with reliable performance, high accuracy, low power consumption, stable zero point, and convenient parameter setting.
