Cleanert Florisil is a highly selective adsorbent. This adsorbent mainly consists of three components: silica (84%), magnesium oxide (15.5%), and sodium sulfate (0.5%). It is a commonly used solid-phase extraction filler with good performance and cost-effectiveness. Specifically designed for AOAC, EPA and other methods, it is used for the purification, separation, internal secretion and oil separation of pesticide residues PCBs,PAHs, Separation of nitrogen-containing compounds and antibiotic substances in hydrocarbons. Commonly used for removing pigments in pesticide residue analysis, it is an essential sample precursor in the NY761 analysis method

Recommended operating procedures for pesticide residue detection in fruits and vegetables:
Conditionalize the Cleanert Florisil (1000 mg/6 mL, Cat. No. FS0006) column with 5.0 mL of acetone+n-hexane (10%+90%) and 5.0 mL of n-hexane in sequence. When the solvent level reaches the surface of the column adsorption layer, immediately pour in the sample solution, receive the eluent in a 15 mL graduated centrifuge tube, rinse the beaker with 5 mL of acetone+n-hexane (10%+90%), rinse the Florisil column, and repeat once. Place the centrifuge tube containing the eluent on a nitrogen blower, and under the condition of a water bath temperature of 50 ℃, evaporate the nitrogen to less than 5 mL. Use n-hexane to accurately determine the volume to 5.0 mL. Mix well on a vortex mixer and transfer into two 2 mL automatic sampler sample bottles for testing.
