It refers to an environment with low pollution levels, where the sources of pollution include dust, airborne microorganisms, suspended particles, and chemical volatile gases. Purification rooms are widely used in industries that are particularly sensitive to environmental pollution, such as semiconductor production, biotechnology, biotechnology, precision machinery, pharmaceuticals, hospitals, etc. Among them, the semiconductor industry has particularly strict requirements for indoor temperature, humidity, and cleanliness, so it must be controlled within a certain range of requirements to avoid affecting the process.
operation mode:
1. Turbulent flow
Definition: A clean room where the airflow flows at an uneven speed, without parallel flow, accompanied by reflux or vortex.
Characteristic: The turbulent flow purification room relies on multiple air exchanges to achieve cleanliness and cleanliness levels. The number of air changes determines the purification level in the definition (the more air changes, the higher the purification level)
Advantages: Simple construction, system construction cost, easy expansion of clean rooms, and the ability to use dust-free workbenches in certain special use areas to improve the cleanliness level of the clean room.
2. Laminar flow
The laminar airflow moves in a uniform straight line, and the air enters the room through a filter with a coverage rate of 100%, and is returned by the elevated floor or two side partition boards. This type is suitable for use in environments with high cleanroom grades, generally ranging from Class 1 to 100. It can be divided into two types:
⑴ Horizontal laminar flow type: Horizontal air is blown out in one direction from the filter and returned by the return air system on the opposite wall. Dust is discharged outdoors with the wind, and pollution is generally more severe on the downstream side.
Advantages: Simple construction, can become stable in a short period of time after operation.
⑵ Vertical laminar flow type: The ceiling of the room is completely covered with ULPA filters, and the air is blown from top to bottom to achieve high cleanliness. Dust generated during the process or by workers can be quickly discharged outside without affecting other work areas.
Advantages: Easy to manage, stable operation can be achieved within a short period of time, and is not easily affected by work status or personnel.
