DHCG-3 Cold Atomic Absorption Mercury Analyzer

1、 Purpose and principle

The cold atomic absorption mercury analyzer (hereinafter referred to as the instrument) can conveniently and quickly measure the mercury in coal samples that have been processed and converted into solutions, as well as low concentration mercury in liquid samples. Mercury atomic vapor has a strong absorption effect on ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 253.7nm. Within a certain range, the relationship between its absorption value and the concentration of mercury atomic vapor follows Beer's law. The instrument is designed and manufactured based on this principle. The mercury ions contained in the sample solution in the reduction bottle are reduced to metallic mercury by stannous chloride. Under the action of the circulation pump, the metallic mercury vaporizes and is loaded into the absorption cell. The instrument measures its absorption value and the internal computer system calculates it to display or print the concentration value of mercury in the sample. The instrument is also equipped with an RS-232C serial interface. The mercury analyzer data processing software used. This software can be installed on the Windows operating system of a computer, allowing the computer to receive mercury measurement signals from the instrument and calculate the concentration of mercury based on the standard curve and other set parameters. The measurement data can be stored in the form of files in the computer and has the function of retrieving the measurement data files.
