This equipment complies with the international GB/T15459-1995 method for determining the crushing strength of coal. A coal block with a particle size of 60mm to 100mm is freely dropped from a height of 2m onto a steel plate of specified thickness. Then, the coal block with a particle size greater than 25mm is dropped again, for a total of three times. The crushing strength of the coal is expressed by the mass percentage of the crushed coal block with a particle size greater than 25mm to the original coal sample

Coal blocks with particle sizes ranging from 60mm to 100mm are freely dropped from a height of 2m onto a steel plate of specified thickness. Then, coal blocks larger than 25mm are dropped again, for a total of three times. The crushing strength of coal is expressed by the mass percentage of crushed coal blocks larger than 25mm in the original coal sample.

The industrial coal falling strength tester has been modified according to the international coal crushing strength measurement method, in accordance with the design of MT/T925-2004 coal strength measurement method. A certain amount of coal type sample is freely dropped from a height of 2 meters onto a steel plate of specified thickness. Then, the coal blocks with a particle size greater than 13mm in the fallen coal will be dropped again three times. The drop strength of the coal block will be expressed as the percentage of the mass of the coal blocks with a particle size greater than 13mm after the third drop to the mass of the prototype coal sample.
