The Danfoss pressure transmitter MBS5100 is a Danfoss ship application pressure transmitter, certified by classification societies as a high-precision pressure transmitter suitable for almost all types of ship applications.
Danfoss pressure transmitter MBS5100/5150
The MBS 5150 pressure sensor is equipped with a pulse buffer and is suitable for ship applications with severe medium effects such as cavitation, liquid hammer, or pressure peaks, even in
*Reliable pressure measurement results can also be achieved in the end environment. The transmitter can be easily installed directly on the MBV 5000 block test valve or connected using threaded pressure.
The pressure transmitter program is very flexible, with an output signal of 4-20 mA, providing absolute or relative (gauge pressure) versions, and a measurement range from 0-1 to 0-600 bar, without the need for zero or range adjustment.
High anti vibration stability, durability, and EMC/EMI protection capability, the pressure transmitter meets strict industrial standards.
feature
Danfoss pressure transmitter MBS5100/5150Specially designed for harsh maritime environments
The MBS 5150 pressure transmitter is equipped with a pulse buffer and is suitable for maritime applications where the medium is severely affected (such as cavitation, liquid hammer, or pressure peaks). It can achieve reliable pressure measurement results even in extreme environments.
The pressure connection is made of acid resistant stainless steel material (AISI 316L), and the absolute or relative (gauge pressure) pressure measurement range is 0-600 bar
Output signal: 4-20 mA
Various pressure connections
Temperature compensation and laser calibration
Accuracy 0.3% FS
Zero point adjustment and range adjustment

application
Hydraulic systems may experience cavitation, hydraulic hammer, and peak pressure, such as when quickly closing valves or when starting and closing pumps. This type of problem may occur at both the inlet and outlet ends, even at extremely low working pressures.
Medium conditions
The presence of particles in the liquid may cause nozzle blockage. Installing the sensor in a vertical position can reduce the risk of nozzle blockage, as the nozzle may only come into contact with liquid after the ineffective volume of the nozzle flow port is filled with liquid during startup. The influence of medium viscosity on response time is very small. Even with a viscosity of up to 100 cSt, the response time will not exceed 4 ms.
