The infrared IR CO2 sensor has a detection resolution of 0.01Vol. -%, which can safely and accurately detect the harmful concentration of carbon dioxide in the ambient air and issue an alarm. Dual IR CO2/Ex sensors have dual functions and can simultaneously meet the needs of professional and reliable detection of flammable and explosive substances as well as carbon dioxide.

Besides hydrocarbons, hydrogen is also a flammable and explosive gas. Conventional infrared sensors are unable to detect the explosiveness of hydrogen gas. The Delger X-am 5600 combines two sensor signals (infrared Ex and electrochemical H2) for accurate detection of hydrogen gas. This application field, which can only be detected by catalytic combustion sensors so far, can now be achieved through the non-toxic technology of X-am 5600.
