When there is no gas source pressure, the spring returns to release thrust and move, driving the push rod to move up or down. The L600 series includes a double acting pneumatic actuator without a spring, which is driven by two air sources, one for intake and one for exhaust. The thrust generated by the pressure of the intake air source acting on the effective area of the piston drives the push rod to move up or down.
