GKYWG-57Direct reading magnetic level gauge
GKYWG-57 magnetic level gauge is a direct reading level instrument based on the principle of magnetic coupling, also known as a magnetic flip column level gauge or magnetic flip plate level gauge. Suitable for measuring liquid levels or boundaries in open or closed containers. According to Article 6.3.2 of the current "Design Specification for Tank Areas in Petrochemical Storage and Transportation Systems" SH/T3007, "a set of remote instruments and a set of local indicating instruments should be installed for measuring the liquid level of pressure storage tanks, and glass plate level gauges should not be used as local indicating instruments." Magnetic level gauges have replaced glass plate level gauges and become the ideal choice for local level indicating instruments.
Magnetic level gauge uses a magnetic float as the measuring element. When the liquid level in the storage tank changes, it will cause the float with magnetic steel to float along with the liquid level. The floating of the float linearly transmits the liquid level change to the magnetic flip column (plate) in the indicator through the principle of magnetic coupling. The magnetic flip column (plate) rotates 180 ° to change the indicator color, thereby achieving the purpose of indicating the liquid level in the storage tank.

Remote transmission unit
Remote transmission devices include two forms: magneto resistive remote transmission devices and magnetostrictive remote transmission devices.
Magnetic resistance type remote transmission device: Its remote transmission unit is tied to the outside of the measuring cylinder. When the liquid level in the storage tank changes, it will cause the float with permanent magnet steel to float along with the liquid level. The float floating causes the magnetic resistor corresponding to the liquid level value to close under the action of the float's magnetic field, resulting in changes in resistance and current. The 4-20mA signal is output through an analog-to-digital conversion circuit, thus achieving the purpose of remote transmission of liquid level signals. When applied in explosion-proof situations, the magnetoresistance type remote transmission device should use an explosion-proof shell.
Magnetostrictive remote transmission device: Its remote transmission unit is tied to the outside of the measuring cylinder, and the remote transmission unit emits current pulses along the magnetostrictive lines inside the measuring tube to form a circular magnetic field. When the liquid level in the storage tank changes, it will cause the float with permanent magnet steel to float along with the liquid level. The magnetic field of the float magnetizes the magnetostrictive wire along the axial direction.
A twisted pulse is generated at the superposition of two magnetic fields. The remote transmission unit detects the transmission time of the pulse and processes it through a processor to output a 4-20mA signal through an analog-to-digital conversion circuit, thereby achieving the purpose of remote transmission of liquid level signals. When applied in explosion-proof situations, magnetostrictive remote transmission devices should use explosion-proof shells.
