The Dr ä ger X-zone 5000 transforms the Dr ä ger personal gas detection device X-am 5000 into an innovative area monitoring device with a wide range of applications. Applying higher security technology - not only can it be carried around for personal gas detection, but it can also be placed in areas with potential gas hazards for area monitoring.

Clear alarm -360 °

The glowing green LED light indicates that the gas is safe and clean, and is clearly visible even from a distance. After detecting hazardous gases, the LED light changes from green to red, issuing a clear warning and a loud evacuation alarm. The gas path design of the Delger X-zone 5000 allows gas to diffuse into the instrument from all directions.

Wireless fence

Up to 25 Derger X-zone 5000 units can automatically interconnect to form a wireless fence. This interconnected area monitoring device can ensure the safety of larger areas. Once a gas alarm occurs, the device can transmit the alarm signal to all devices in the wireless fence and issue sub alarms. Different from the red main alarm, the sub alarm emits green/red lights, allowing on-site personnel to quickly identify the alarm device and the device that triggered the alarm.

Regional monitoring - configurable pump

The optional built-in pump device can provide continuous area monitoring. This is for continuous monitoring of confined spaces and difficult to access areas - up to 45 meters (150 feet) away.

Alarm connection with external devices

Through passive alarm connection, the Delger X-zone 5000 device can also trigger linked devices such as sirens, traffic lights, or traffic lights. In addition, wireless fence signals and alarm signals can be transmitted to the control room together – more widely used.

Unlike personal gas detectors, area monitoring devices are typically placed in explosive hazardous areas, even when gas alarms are issued. Therefore, it is very important for the device to pass the Zone 0 certification for explosive hazardous areas. The certification of the Delger X-zone 5000 ensures its continuous use in explosive environments.

Continuous usage time of up to 120 hours

Two different types of rechargeable batteries can be selected to meet various applications: a 12Ah battery with a total weight of only 7kg (15 pounds), which can operate continuously for 60 hours; Optional 24Ah battery, with a total weight of 10 kg (22 pounds), can last for 120 hours of use - equivalent to one week of work time.
