Overview
The energy gathering type external liquid level gauge mainly consists of an external liquid level gauge host, a measuring probe, and an energy gathering steering device. The measuring probe is installed on the outer wall of the container, not in contact with the medium inside the tank, and emits sonar signals. The energy concentrator reflects the sonar signals, which propagate along the direction perpendicular to the liquid surface and return along the original path after being reflected by the liquid surface. The measuring probe receives the echo sonar signals to achieve distance measurement.

The installation height of the measuring probe (H0) refers to the vertical height of the probe from the bottom of the tank, and the parameters need to be confirmed according to specific working conditions. 4. An example of selection, such as ELL-ZX-L1-500, refers to a magnetic energy concentrator with a focal length of 1000mm and a measurement probe installation height of 500mm.

Working principle of energy gathering steering gear

Focus of the reflective surface of the energy gathering steering gearThe angle between the normal of the curved surface section at point O and the gravity perpendicular is 45 degrees. The liquid level measurement probe emits sonar signals from outside the side wall of the vertical tank, penetrates the tank wall, enters the T point on the inside of the tank wall, and then passes through the liquid at the T point on the tank wall and is directed towards the turning device. The sonar signals are reflected by the focusing reflection surface of the turning device, parallel to the liquid level, and then reflected by the liquid level and directed back to the focusing reflection surface of the turning device. After being focused by the turning device, they return to the T point on the tank wall, achieving an improvement in sonar signal strength and signal-to-noise ratio, and then penetrate the tank wall and enter the measurement probe.
